My big fat break is finally over and its back into school and starting my internships with one of the companies that visited my portfolio show from back in March.
Im starting my class of Pre-Production where we basically make a short film as a class and take it to completion by the Production class. So its like we stay as a group for two quarters, about 22 weeks.
So far its going well, I pitched my idea to the class and they liked it so now I'm acting as Art Director of a short film which is awesome because I've always wanted to do this and the work generated will look great on our portfolios.
Literally it felt like everything in my life has led up to this moment haha. I just want it make it a fun learning experience, really excited.
Because of all this my personal art may have to slow down as i do not want to split my attention from Pre-Production and my Internship.
Any and all work done for both these projects I do not want to show right away and because i had to sign documents for my internships to not disclose any artwork.
I would never anyway, I totally understand not showing that stuff off to the public, its not my product.
So yeah, I'll try to keep sketching and drawing for myself when I can.
Working on my little comic project is a kinda out of the question because I don't want to pile on more work.
I just want to make everything I'm going to work on as awesome as can be. I look forward to learning new things and making great work.
Speaking of which back to work I go. Byeeee.
I'm going to be very busy for the next 11 weeks working on a short film and interning at an indie game company. I'll try to draw personal art when I can but for now I gotta put my school work first. I'll still check in when I can though.
